From 100% Moscatel Galego grape variety this wine is of exceptional quality as in 2015 was great year for the Moscatel variety on the Douro plateau. The grapes were picked manually from a vineyard at 670m in altitude at the end of August the harvest season.
Vinification process begins with fermentation on skins for about 6 days at controlled temperatures and the process is interrupted with the addition of wine spirits to perfection. The fermentation is continued for another 10 days before being pressed. This is then aged in old oak barrels for 5 years lending it an elegant hue and taste for a Moscato wine.
Alcoholic fermentation at 15-16Deg C.
